What's it?
CAPER (Chromosome-Assembled human Proteome browsER) is designed to visualize human proteomic datasets and related annotation information based on chromosomes, to connect chromosome, genome, transcriptome, proteome and even the phenotype, benefiting the Human Proteome Project (HPP) and human physiology and pathology researches.
How to use it?
CAPER is a sub-project of Chinese CAPE project. In the coming ten years, CAPE (Chromosome-Assembled human Proteome Encyclopedia) project will build an integrated proteomic database and knowledge mining system, including integrated processing work flow system for proteomic datasets, powerful storage and exchange system for proteomic datasets, annotation system for proteomic data integrating all kinds of omics data and annotation information, comprehensive analysis and visualization tools.
