What's it?
EWAS Atlas is dedicated to the curation, integration and standardization of EWAS knowledge and has the great potential to help researchers dissect molecular mechanisms of epigenetic modifications associated with biological traits.
How to use it?
There are three kinds of input designed for different situations: Probe ID list: Users can paste the probe ID list to the text box directly. EWAS Toolkit is designed to accept the data starting from the first row without header. The lists can contain only a single element on each line, and the number of probes should between 20 to 1,000. The elements are processed in a case-sensitive manner and duplicated elements in each list will be removed before analyzing. Trait name: It is easily to use probe set from EWAS Atlas as input by selecting a trait. For traits with more than 1,000 related probes, EWAS toolkit will select top 1,000 among them depend on the frequency and p value of probe.Job ID: EWAS Toolkit assign a unique ID for each analysis and this ID can be used to get results after analyzing. There are also three ways to get the result: Waiting on the page: You can stay on the page until the end of the program. It takes about three minutes to finish all analyses except for motif enrichment analysis. The motif enrichment analysis is very time consuming and takes about 15 to 20 minutes. We provide batch downloads of the results for motif analysis and other analyses respectively. Enter the same probe set: EWAS toolkit will not analyze repeatedly for the same input. So you can find the result of previous analysis by inputting the probe set again. Find by job ID: As it describe above, you can get the result by inputting job ID.
